Tata Motors have launched the new Harrier and Safari facelift in India and along with that, another big news is the fact that both of these SUVs have received a GNCAP 5 star safety rating. Hence, the Safari and Harrier have also achieved the highest score for adult and child occupant safety by GNCAP. Both cars were tested with six airbags and ESC as standard while both also have a stable structure and offer good protection. In terms of score, both of these SUVs got 33.05/34 for adult occupant protection and 45/49 for child occupant protect

In terms of pricing the Harrier starts from Rs 15.4 lakh while the automatic range starts from Rs 19.9 lakh. As we have mentioned before the variant names have been changed and it is now Personas. The automatic comes with the + Persona trim.

The Safari meanwhile starts from Rs 16.19 lakh while the automatic range starts from Rs 20.6 lakh.  Both of these SUVs have received extensive tweaks to the design and get an all new interior with more features on offer along with ADAS and also getting no less than 7 airbags. The new SUVs also get a bigger touchscreen and a larger digital instrument cluster.

The Safari also gets more comfort oriented features including an electric boss mode plus second row ventilated seats. Both of these SUVs compete in the three row and the compact SUV space while the safety rating plus the features increase is no doubt a big draw. Both of these SUVs also get a new family look which was seen on the Nexon facelift first
