Tata Punch has had a new variant structure plus with more features available throughout the range. The highlights of the updated Punch include a 10.25-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android auto and Apple Car play plus wireless charger along with a 'grand console' with armrest plus rear AC vents.
There is also a fast C-Type USB charger too. Tata Motors have also updated the variants with new variants called Accomplished and Creative Persona. There are also new variants called Pure (O), Adventure S and Adventure + S trims while there are more CNG variants now from the earlier Punch.
Some of the earlier variants like the Pure Rhythm, Accomplished, Accomplished SR trims have been discontinued as well. Mechanically, things remain the same with the Tata Punch and also visually with no changes while the features have now been rejigged across the range.
Tata Punch range starts from Rs 6 lakh while the top-end is just above Rs 10 lakh. It continues with CNG and petrol options along with being available in both manual and automatic. The Punch has been one of the best selling cars in its class and has been the best selling car for Tata Motors while also reaching 4 lakh sales.
The Punch was first launched in October 2021 and has been a big success while the CNG variant has also increased sales of this subcompact SUV while it has been the best selling car in India for many months now. In terms of the overall sales, the Punch’s petrol variant contributes 53 percent to the overall Punch sales, followed by 33 percent by its CNG variant and 14 percent by its EV variant (CY24).
