Tata Motors continues getting top marks for all of its products with the latest Curvv and Curvv EV along with the Nexon in its new avatar getting 5 stars. Being crash tested by Bharat NCAP, the Curvv EV and the ICE version have come out with flying colours. For the Curvv ICE, the diesel version was tested while for the EV, the top-end 55kwh battery pack was tested.

The EV has scored slightly more though with the ICE Curvv scoring  29.50 points out of 32 in adult occupant protection while the same is  30.81 points out of 32 for the EV Curvv. In child occupant protection, the Curvv ICE has scored 43.66 points out of 49 while in the EV there is also a higher score at 44.83 points.

The Nexon EV also fared well in its new facelifted avatar getting a score of 29.86 out of 32 in Adult occupant protection and also having a score of 44.95 out of 49 in child occupant protection.

Again, the ICE Nexon scored a bit less than the EV version here with scores of 43.83 and 29.41.

It seems while the Curvv EV is similar to the ICE car in terms of design, both have a different platform which shows in the results but both have scored top marks here. The Curvv EV has a different platform which is Acti.EV and that is also similar to the Punch EV which means it is more flexible with extra features along with having a frunk too. The previous Tata Motor cars have also scored 5 stars with the Harrier and the Safari.
