Tata Motors will be launching the Curvv quite soon and it will come first with its EV powertrain while another interesting aspect is the features list on offer. The Curvv slots in between the Harrier and the Nexon being its compact SUV offering above 4 m but the talking point is the features list. Tata Motors will no doubt offer a long feature list to battle rivals in this space as that matters with buyers.

While it will get a digital instrument cluster and a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen, the Curvv will also most likely get level 2 ADAS just like on the Harrier.

Like the Nexon EV, we can expect the Curvv to get an air purifier, Arcade. EV apps, ventilated seats plus a customisable JBL audio system. The other big new feature is the panoramic sunroof which is there on the Harrier while the Curvv would be the most affordable Tata Motors car with this feature.Other features which are expected include a 6 way powered seat, dual zone climate control plus a gesture controlled boot opening.

Being an EV based on the new Acti.ev architecture, the Curvv will get a frunk like the Tata Punch as it is one of the benefits of the modular architecture. The Curvv EV will first come and most likely have a claimed range of 500 km while later the diesel manual will come along with the petrol plus CNG options too.

The pricing of the Curvv would be between the Nexon and the Harrier while the design is also a change from the segment norm being a coupe style SUV. We recently saw the diesel version in nearer to production form and that showed the design has maintained the basic look.

The Curvv diesel will be coming later this year before the year end while for now, the Curvv EV would be sold via separate EV showrooms along with the standard Tata showrooms. Stay tuned for more information on the Curvv leading closer to its launch.
