Tata Motors will launch the new Curvv on the 7th of August and the one question every one will have on their mind is the range on the Curvv of course. The Curvv EV is coming first and it will be the most expensive Tata ev while showcasing a future where Tata Motors wants to bring in more premium EVs.

The range of the Curvv EV is in question and it will be obviously more than the Nexon EV but how much? We say it will be upwards of 500 km for sure since the Nexon EV has a range of 460 km. We expect the Curvv Ev to have a range of around 550 km while the battery pack would be significantly bigger than the Nexon EV as well.

Do note that the Curvv EV is based on the actiev architecture like the Punch EV which means the charging port is at the front, there is a flat floor and range is more too. We also expect two battery packs, Medium range and Long Range with the Long Range being the one which would deliver 500 km more range per charge.

We expect the Medium Range version to be below 500 km and around the Long Range of the Nexon EV. The Curvv EV would be retailed via exclusive Ev showrooms and standard ones as well. The EV version will also get more features than the ICE while getting EV specific design details like the Nexon EV. With battery technology evolving, the range and charging times have also improved too while we can see more mainstream EVs matching the range of much more expensive EVs or even doing better than them. We will know the full details by the 7th of December of course.
