Skoda will be launching the new Kylaq on December 2 while revealing the full price list as currently we only know the price of the entry level variant which is an aggressive Rs 7.89 lakh ex-showroom. The new Kylaq has a length of 3,995mm long, width of 1,783mm, and 1,619mm, with a wheelbase of 2,566m. The ground clearance is 189mm. In terms of the colours on offer, the Kylaq will come with five colour options including an Olive Gold colour. The standard 1.0 TSI petrol engine develops 115bhp and 178Nm with a top-speed of 188 km/h. The variants include Classic, Signature, Signature+ and Prestige.

The Classic is the standard entry level trim with features like six airbags, 16-inch steel wheels, power windows, manual AC, rear ac vents, powered mirrors, charging point, ISOFIX, traction control, engine start/stop.

The Signature meanwhile adds in features like 16 inch alloy wheels, Tyre pressure monitor, a rear defogger, rear parcel shelf, USB Type C, steering controls and a smaller touchscreen.

The Signature+ brings in more features like a larger 10 inch touchscreen, rear armrest, cruise control, digital dials, steering paddles for the automatic.

The Prestige version adds in bigger 17-inch alloys, powered front seats with ventilation, powered sunroof, rear wiper, Auto-dimming IRVM, leatherette upholstery.

We expect the top-end variant to be priced at around Rs 14.5 lakh while deliveries will begin from January 2025. We feel the Signature+ is the best variant in terms of its expected price to feature ratio while some of the top features are clubbed together on the top-end variant only which means the Prestige gets the much talked about features.
