Maruti Suzuki will reveal its new SUV for the Indian market by the 20th of this month but we already know the features that the premium SUV will have.

To recap, the Vitara Brezza will be revealed on the 20th with a market launch later next month and it will be sold via the Nexa outlets. The Grand Vitara essentially replaces the S-Cross but being developed with Toyota, the new SUV is packed with features.

It starts off with the fact that the new Grand Vitara would have the biggest panoramic sunroof in its class and that alone gives it a big strength over other SUVs.

It is also the first Maruti SUV to have a panoramic sunroof after the Brezza being the first Maruti to have a sunroof altogether. Then some of the other talking points like also being the first Maruti to have an AWD system.

The All-Grip AWD system is available on global Suzuki cars but now it has made it to the upcoming Grand Vitara.

The driver can use it via the dial on the dashboard plus the ability to change via modes suited to different terrain like Snow while being Sport or auto the system detects and sends power to all the wheels depending on the terrain. You can use Lock also for off-road conditions.

Other than this, the Grand Vitara will get a 9-inch touchscreen with connected car tech, a 360 degree camera, digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, ventilated seats, Heads up display and more.

The AWD system would be offered on the manual 1.5 petrol engine with the 2WD will get an optional 6-speed auto with paddle shifters. The manual would be a 5-speed one. The other powertrain is a strong hybrid with a 1.5l engine and an eCVT gearbox. Like with the Toyota Hyryder, you would be able to drive in electric mode only.
