JSW MG Motor India will unveil the Windsor CUV on September 11. The Windsor is a crossover and that will be pure electric. This new product will slot in between the Comet and the ZS along with expanding the MG Motor electric range. This crossover has a length of 4.3m and will come with many futuristic styling details.


It will come with a front axle motor and it will most likely be available with two battery packs like 37.9kWh and a 50.6kWh, while the claimed range for both would be 360 km and 460 km. It will be spacious too and despite its 5-seater configuration, the Windsor will have a lot of space on the inside while getting a feature called rear recline seat which reclines upto 135 degrees.

The rear seat photo also reveals a lot of legroom for the passengers plus a flat floor along with three headrests. The interiors look fairly luxurious with the seats along with the stitching. The rear ac vents plus the door pad design is also different. The interiors will also get features like a large floating touchscreen.


The Windsor is a unique product with no competition but it will compete with other EV SUVs at this price.


The price range for the Windsor is expected to be sub Rs 20 lakh and that means it would be competitively priced. We will learn more details about Windsor on the 11th of next month. The prices are expected to come out later for the MG Windsor while for now we will get to see the India spec car.
