Everyone is troubled by the rising petrol and diesel prices in the country. In this situation, many people are recommending electric cars. But due to poor infrastructure for electric cars in India they have not proved to be as effective. Now the only option left with the customers is CNG cars. Because of this, the country's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki is going to expand its CNG segment. The company can soon launch two of its CNG cars in India. Let's know about their price and engine.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire CNG

Maruti Suzuki is considered to be quite good in the CNG segment. It is believed that this year the company can launch the CNG variant of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire around the festive season. It is being said that this car will be very economical. According to experts, CNG variants of both these cars can be costlier by Rs 90,000 to Rs 1 lakh as compared to petrol variants. Like the current CNG car model of Maruti, both these cars can also give a mileage of around 30 to 32 km/kg.

New Maruti Suzuki Celerio CNG

The company will launch the next-generation model of Maruti Suzuki Celerio this year. Its new design will be launched in the market. Many of its features would be the same as in the existing model. It is expected that its new model will give more mileage than the current model. Its price can be between 90 thousand to one lakh rupees more than the current model.

The 1.2-litre dual-jet petrol engine has been used in both CNG cars of Maruti Suzuki, which generates torque of 113Nm and power of 90PS. This engine comes with a 5-speed manual and automatic gearbox.

Apart from Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors will also launch its CNG cars in the market this year. The company is getting Tiago's CNG. Its testing unit was recently seen on trial with ARAI. The Tata Tiago CNG-powered Tiago is expected to be the most affordable car. The company can launch it closer to the festive season. Apart from the Tata Tiago, the company is planning to introduce the bi-fuel iteration of its sub-4 meter compact sedan Tigor in the market. It will be more economical than its petrol model. It is believed that this car may be launched around Diwali.
