Maruti Suzuki will launch upto six new EVs leading upto 2031 while the next big launch in EVs from them would be the eVX. The eVX would be most likely unveiled in January 2025 at the Bharat Mobility Show. The eVX previously was seen in concept form earlier while at the show we can see the production version and the final specs.

Alongside India, the eVX will also go on sale in other markets like Japan and Europe as well. It is a 4m plus EV SUV and that will rival the likes of the Tata Curvv and the MG ZS plus the Hyundai Creta EV too. We can expect a launch for the eVX to be sometime later in 2025. The eVX would be expected to get two battery pack options while the range would be in the region of about 550km.

The eVX would be having a 60kWh battery pack and would be built at the Suzuki Motor Gujarat plant in Hansalpur. The eVX would also have a Toyota sibling too while the styling would be different. Being a born EV the eVX could be the biggest Maruti SUV in terms of space and also probably having features like a flat floor too.

We expect the size of the car to be around 4.3 metres. The eVX would be the starting in a long list of EVs including six by 2031 including more mass market models as well. The Indian EV space will witness a lot of launches in the coming years as more manufacturers get into this segment while Maruti Suzuki launching its first born electric EV would certainly be a big moment for the carmaker. Maruti Suzuki will launch EVs as well as hybrids in the future.
