Maruti Suzuki, the renowned automobile manufacturer, is set to introduce its most premium MPV, named "Engage," in the month of July. The unveiling of this exciting model is expected to take place around July 5th. Serving as Maruti Suzuki's version of the Toyota Innova Hycross, Engage will be a remarkable addition to their lineup. While Maruti and Toyota have already showcased the Grand Vitara and Hyryder models, Engage will be sourced from Toyota with distinctive styling modifications.

One of the notable aspects of Engage is that it will be retailed exclusively through the Nexa showrooms. To differentiate it from the Hycross, the MPV will receive various enhancements. It will feature a large grille, and unique headlamp treatment, and incorporate the Nexa lighting signature seen on the new Baleno and Grand Vitara. Engage will be available with two engine options, similar to those found in the Innova Hycross, including a standard petrol engine and a robust hybrid version.

The interior of Engage is expected to closely resemble that of the Innova Hycross, including the seating configuration and feature list. As a result, it will offer a similar level of comfort and convenience, making it the most luxurious and feature-packed car in Maruti Suzuki's lineup.

However, an intriguing aspect to consider is how Maruti Suzuki plans to manage the supply of Engage, considering the current high demand for the Innova Hycross hybrid. The Innova Hycross, renowned for its premium MPV design with SUV-like styling, has encountered a significant backlog of orders, leading to a halt in bookings for the top-end version.

With Engage expected to offer a strong hybrid variant, it is likely to be priced slightly higher than the Innova Hycross, following the pricing strategy observed with the Grand Vitara and Hyryder models.
