The Fronx is a coupe SUV and enters into a highly competitive space with already many cars. However, within the Maruti line-up there is already the Brezza which is sold via Arena showrooms and now the Fronx comes in to add to the SUV range within Nexa. So who do these two SUVs stack up? Here is a quick specification comparison and while the cars can't be strictly compared, the price segment seems to be similar.


Dimensions


The Fronx has a length of 3995mm while the Brezza also has a length of 3995mm. If you talk about width then the Fronx comes in at 1765mm with the Brezza coming in at 1790mm. In terms of height, the Fronx is 1550mm while the Brezza is 1685mm. The Fronx has the longer wheelbase though at 2520mm vs the Brezza at 2500mm.


Features


The Fronx with its top-end trim gets features like a 360-degree camera, head-up display, connected car tech, wireless charging, 6 airbags and leather-wrapped steering amongst others including a touchscreen plus an Arkamys audio system. Much of these features are also shared with the Brezza with the connected car tech, wireless charging, head-up display or even the 360 degree camera. The difference is the addition of a sunroof in the Brezza.


Engine options


The biggest difference between the Brezza and the Fronx is the Boosterjet turbo petrol with the Fronx. The Fronx gets a 1.2l petrol with AMT and manual but it also gets a 1.0l turbo unit with 100bhp and 147Nm. This engine comes with a 6-speed automatic torque converter and a manual gearbox. The Brezza meanwhile has a 1.5l petrol with 103bhp and 137Nm. This engine comes with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic. Both the Brezza and the Fronx 6-speed automatic come with paddle shifters.


Prices


The Fronx 1.2 starts from Rs 7.4 lakh while the top-end Delta+ is Rs 9.2 lakh. The turbo petrol Fronx range starts from Rs 9.7 lakh and goes till Rs 13.4 lakh. The Brezza meanwhile is priced from Rs 8.2 lakh while the top-end is Rs 14.14 lakh. The Brezza is more spacious and practical with more features too while the Fronx offers more performance with its turbo petrol engine.
