New Delhi: A couple of images of the Mahindra XUV700 have been leaked and these are the pics of the SUV at the company plant.

The two images reveal the new look of the XUV700 and it is clearly bigger and based on the XUV500.

The design has changed and the massive headlamps with a DRL at the side gives it presence while the grille is black. There is cladding and things like the roof-rails of course.

The headlamps are LED units while the rear curves in along with having bigger tail-lamps than the XUV500. There is also an integrated spoiler.

The SUV seems to have smaller alloy wheels when compared to the rest of the body too. Being a 7-seater you can see the quarter glass being bigger along with having the third row which has decent space- more than rivals.

The XUV700 would be also big on features including sporting the largest sunroof in its class, flush door handles, having customized voice alerts for speeding and more.

The interior would be having two big screens with the centre one being a big touch screen along with dual-zone climate control, 360-degree view camera, ventilated and powered seats and more.

There would also be an air purifier on-board along with having driver assistance features like auto braking and adaptive cruise control.

Unlike rivals the XUV700 would be having an option of 4WD with the petrol and the diesel with both being 2.0l and 2.2l units. Both engines will come with a choice of a manual or a torque converter automatic. Rumoured to be revealed this August 15th, the XUV700 would be more premium and command higher pricing with starting from around 17-18 lakh.

The design overall seems an evolution of the XUV500 and we will hear more and see more about this SUV in the coming days.
