Mahindra introduced several enhancements to its XUV700 model, including new features and an appealing Napoli Black colour option, complemented by various cosmetic tweaks. Notably, the 2024 XUV700 now offers captain seats in both AX7 and AX7L variants, along with ventilated front seats equipped with memory ORVMs linked to custom seat profiles. The black theme is extended to the AX7L and AX7 variants, showcasing a black grille and black alloys. This addition aligns with the growing trend of black gaining popularity among buyers and car manufacturers.
The technological upgrade is evident with the inclusion of Adrenox, providing 83 connected car features, 13 of which are new additions like Ecosense leaderboard, M lens, and toll diary, facilitated by Firmware Over-the-Air (FOTA) updates. New features include Prognosis Alerts, Vehicle Status, Location-Based Services, Safety, Remote Functions, and compatibility with Third-Party Apps.
With prices starting at Rs 13.99 lakh for the MX trim and reaching Rs 23.99 lakh for the top-end AX7L, the XUV700 maintains its competitive pricing in the market.
Despite these updates, the XUV700 retains its mechanical configuration, featuring a 2.2-litre diesel engine and a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine, available with both automatic and manual gearbox options.
The addition of captain seats fulfills a longstanding demand, particularly catering to chauffeur-driven owners. As a key player in Mahindra's successful lineup, the XUV700 receives these updates to maintain its competitiveness in the fiercely contested SUV segment below the Rs 25 lakh price range.
