New Delhi: Hyundai has officially revealed the next product in the N Line range and as said earlier, it would be the Venue that now gets the N Line treatment. The Venue is also the first SUV that gets added to the N Line range and in essence, it is a sportier version just like the i20 N Line. However, the changes go beyond the usual exterior updates as it is also including some significant changes to the equipment list.

In terms of total changes, the Venue N Line for example gets all-around disc brakes, a dashcam with Dual Camera, a new dark chrome grille, tailgate spoiler, N Line logos, red exterior highlights, front red brake callipers, black interior, N Line exclusive 16-inch diamond cut alloys and more.

Interestingly the Venue N Line will only be offered with a DCT dual-clutch automatic gearbox with the 1.0l turbo petrol engine with a max power of 88.3 kW (120 PS) and max torque of 172 Nm. Like the i20 N Line, the engine also gets a sportier exhaust note. The Venue N Line will also get drive modes which are also available on the DCT standard Venue.

The Venue N Line would be launched on the 6th of next month with a bit of a price premium over the current Venue but will not have any competition since currently there are not any specific performance-oriented versions of SUVs and that would mean that the Venue N Line will appeal to a niche segment on all of its own. The N Line range was introduced in India with the i20 N Line and it has also found acceptance among enthusiasts since it is the only performance hatchback in India in its segment. Currently, the N Line name is the only dedicated performance sub-brand of any car maker and Hyundai hopes to increase its popularity with this Venue N Line.
