Hyundai has revealed the features list of the Exter and the interior of this new micro SUV due for launch on July 10.
The Exter gets a 20.32 cm (8”) HD touchscreen and a digital cluster with 10.67 cm (4.2”) colour TFT Multi-Information Display (MID)
Like all modern Hyundai cars, there are more than 60 connected features on offer with the Bluelink. Other than that, it has over 90 embedded voice commands and over-the-air (OTA) infotainment and map updates. Other features include, H2C (Home to Car) voice commands through Alexa in Hindi and English plus infotainment with multi-language UI (User Interface) support (10 regional + 2 international languages).
Featured on the likes of the new Hyundai Venue, the Exter gets the 7 ambient sounds of nature as well.
Hyundai has also revealed some specifications regarding the Exter with its wheelbase being 2,450 mm and the height being 1,631 mm. The Exter will get a 1.2l petrol engine and will also have a CNG option along with it. There will also be an AMT and a manual gearbox.
In design terms it gets a dashboard which is somewhat similar to the Nios on which the Exter is based on including the earlier mentioned touchscreen design and the air vents shape. Hyundai has tweaked the interior colour for a sportier look though.
The Exter will get a 1.2l petrol engine and will also have a CNG option along with it. There will also be an AMT and a manual gearbox.
As reported earlier, the Exter will form the entry level for the Hyundai SUV range and will be slotted below the Venue in being the second sub 4m SUV. It counts the Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite and the Renault Kiger as it's rivals in the emerging micro SUV space. The Exter has been developed for the Indian market with our conditions along with our demands in mind.
