Hyundai has launched a performance oriented version of its popular Creta SUV in India. The Creta N Line is available in two trims- N8 and N10 with the N8 manual starting at Rs 16.8 lakh.

In terms of powertrains, the Creta N Line is only available with a 1.5l turbo petrol which develops 160 hp and 253Nm of torque.

The gearbox options in the SUV include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT gearbox. Meanwhile, this is the first time that the Creta has came with a turbo as the enthusiasts will certainly like the return of a manual with a turbo.

In terms of styling, the Creta N Line looks different from the regular Creta with a sportier look thanks to a new bumper design along with a new lower grille plus more sharply cut angles.

The headlamps and DRLs remain the same but the grille has a new N Line badging with red accents at the front too. The side view carries on with the red accents while the Thunder Blue colour comes with a dualtone black roof as well.

The other talking point are the new 18inch alloy wheels which are a size larger than on the standard Creta with lower profile tyres plus red brake calipers.

Move to the rear styling, the Creta N Line has dual exhaust tips plus a spoiler and a larger diffuser plus with the same red accent carried here too.

Inside, the Creta N Line gets a new 3-spoke steering wheel, metal pedals, a new gear shifter and a black upholstery with red accents plus red ambient lighting.

The design is the same with dual 10.25-in screens, dual zone climate control, ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, Bose audio system, powered drivers seat and more. There is of course ADAS on offer too.

The Creta N Line will sit above the regular Creta being the choice for performance enthusiasts, while for the first time, the N Line brand has a Creta.
