The full images and details of the new Creta have been revealed and so it is time to do a short comparison between this new Creta and the current one. The current generation Creta has been a huge success and even towards three years post launch, it dominated the sales charts. So, how good is the new one and what are the changes?
Hyundai Creta 2024: Looks
The new Creta facelift looks completely different from the current one while being less radical, we would say. It looks in-line with the global Hyundai design language for sure while having a boxier shape. While the current Creta gets C-shaped DRLs and has a very polarising look, the new one is more appealing in a conventional way. There is the block-like pattern to the grille which is similar to the Venue facelift along with a light bar plus square shaped headlamps. There are quad beam LEDs now and the bumper is also changed for a boxier look to it. The sides have the same look as the current Creta but the rear is all new with a light bar while these horizontal lights look better than the current Creta ones. The alloys are new too.
Hyundai Creta 2024: Interior
Inside, while the steering wheel looks to be the same, the dashboard is all new along with a joined set-up of screens. It gets a new 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster along with a 10.25-inch touchscreen which stays the same size. The controls to the air vents are also new while being in sync with the square shaped look of the exterior. There are new look materials and we expect an even more premium look to the cabin. The current Creta already has a lot of features but now Hyundai has added in more tech. There is a voice enabled panoramic sunroof, cooled seats, a 360-degree camera, digital dials, ADAS level 2 features, dual zone climate control, an eight-speaker Bose audio system, blind spot monitoring system and more.
Hyundai Creta 2024: Engines
The old Creta had a 1.4l turbo and a 1.5l NA petrol plus a diesel. Now there is a new 1.5l turbo petrol with more power and torque while we expect better efficiency too. The other engines remain the same. However, the 1.5l turbo petrol only will get a DCT automatic and no manual.
