Hyundai has said that it is developing an offroader for India amongst other new cars while this new Boulder concept shows that direction. The Boulder concept is for the US market and showcases a new wave of trucks and offroaders. For Hyundai, it is important to be present in this segment and the Boulder is also underpinned by a ladder frame platform which promises more toughness plus better offroad ability.
The Boulder also looks rugged and stands tall with an offroader stance. The Boulder could show what the offroader from Hyundai will look for India. While no details have been spilled yet regarding the car in India, we can expect 4wd and the same boxy looks which is unlike any other Hyundai in India.

The Boulder will be the start of a new line of Hyundai cars and will be bringing a new set of buyers for the brand. The interiors also are having proper buttons with enough physical buttons- something which is helpful during offroading.
