Honda is all set to unveil its Elevate SUV by June 6 and a talking point regarding this new SUV would be its features list. After all, features are very important in the cutthroat game of compact SUVs. Rivals include the Hyundai Creta and the MG Astor which brings ADAS while the Creta brought in the panoramic sunroof along with the Toyota Hyryder plus the Maruti Grand Vitara bringing a lot of features too. Honda will have its own bag of tricks with the Elevate.

We already know that it will get a sunroof but it will be a single-pane one and not a panoramic sunroof. After that, it will get a part digital instrument cluster along with convenience features like ambient lighting, cruise control, automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers, tyre-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Elevate will also get a rearview camera along with the Honda lane watch feature which shows the blind spot on the main screen.

Top-end versions could get a powered handbrake too. Another big feature would be ADAS which has also made its way into the Honda City recently along with the hybrid version of course. The ADAS features could include lane keep assist, auto emergency braking plus the low-speed follow function. Like the City, we could expect ADAS functions to be given on the manual Elevate as well.

Speaking of which, the Elevate will come with a 1.5l petrol engine and only that for the time being while there would be a six-speed manual plus a CVT automatic with paddle shifters. The Elevate will be launched in August or September with competitive pricing given that it is based on the City.
