Honda has revealed the efficiency of its Elevate compact SUV and the numbers include a figure of 15.31 Kmpl for the manual and 16.92 Kmpl for the CVT automatic. The Elevate comes with a 1.5l naturally aspirated engine which develops 121 bhp and has a torque output of 145Nm. Standard is a 6-speed manual gearbox while optional is a CVT automatic with paddle shifters. The Elevate has a 40-litre fuel tank. The CVT automatic is seen as the more efficient version here over the manual since you can cover 679km per full tank on the CVT Elevate while the manual has a lesser range at 612km.
The Elevate will get its pricing by the festive season and the variant line-up includes SV, V, VX and ZX. The Elevate is the first Honda compact SUV and comes into a segment already bursting with many competitors. The Elevate was recently revealed sometime back and comes with features like ADAS, a single pane sunroof, a Honda lane watch, climate control, a rearview camera with multiple angles, leatherette brown upholstery, an eight-speaker audio system and more.
Honda Elevate also has the class best boot space at 458 litres and also has the best in-class ground clearance of 220mm. Unlike the new Honda City, the Elevate only comes with a standard 1.5l petrol engine and does not get any strong hybrid powertrain. However, Honda will instead launch an electric version of the Elevate within a few years as its first EV for the Indian market. We will have the review soon of the Honda Elevate so stay tuned.
