The Xtreme 125R is the start of a new era for Hero with its aggressive new design and being more than just a commuter. It is a premium 125cc bike that is on the sportier side while also getting many new crucial highlights. We will talk about the new engine later but the new looks are the main talking point at first glance.

The new Xtreme 125R looks big and different with certainly a much more premium look. The interesting headlamp design will catch your attention the most and also remind you of a certain Kawasaki. In fact, that same look has been carried to the side as well with a large, meaty, well-shaped tank and the edgy tail section.

It surely looks bigger than other 125ccs here and looks edgier as well.

If we talk about the powertrain, it is an air-cooled 125cc, single-cylinder engine developing 11.5hp at 8,000rpm.

For a 125, that is a good amount of power and holds up well in the power wars with the 125S Pulsar- its main rival.

Efficiency is rated at 66kmpl while the 0-60 km/h is 5.9 seconds, it also gets the i3S idle stop-start system

The Xtreme 125R also claims to have the widest rear tyre at 120/80 section plus 37 mm front suspension.
