First Ferrari EV Is Not A Hatchback!

Ferrari has not confirmed the body style for the new EV but it will most likely be a GT style two-door car

There has been the first sighting of the new Ferrari EV and yes it is indeed coming next year towards the end. The new Ferrari electric car would be the first EV for the Italian brand and would be its boldest offering yet.

However, while details are not there right now regarding the battery pack or the performance on offer, the new Ferrari EV will have a typical Ferrari roar which is often associated with the brand. A Ferrari is all about the performance but also the sound which would be seen on the new EV too as it would have an authentic soundtrack.

The new Ferrari EV, however, will not look like the test mule as like their other prototype cars, they often wear some other exterior or are a combination of various cars in order to hide the original design. As seen with the first sighting of the EV Ferrari test car, it looks like it has an exterior body similar to a Maserati Levante, especially the rear. It also looks like a large hatchback and we do not think that it will be the final car as this is just a prototype to test the EV powertrain while not being the final design.

Ferrari has not confirmed the body style for the new EV but it will most likely be a GT style two-door car. Ferrari currently makes the Purosange but this new EV Ferrari may not have four doors but could have four seats being an electric GT. This new EV would be a car that would be the most challenging for the brand but expectations are quite high while it would be priced in the premium end in terms of EVs at around Rs 4-5 crore.

This new EV would also be built at the new e-building but Ferrari is not giving up on ICE cars as it will also make V12 engined cars like the 12Cilindri that was just shown while it will also make plug-in hybrid cars as well. Ferrari expects future sales to be a mix of plug-in hybrids, ICE and EVs as its upcoming new EV will not be the only EV as more are in the pipeline. With this new e-building, Ferrari will increase its production capacity and add more cars in its range whilst also maintaining exclusivity too.
