The upcoming Bharat Mobility Global Expo will see a flurry of new EVs with 2025 poised to a year for electric cars. Several carmakers participating in the show will have numerous electric cars as part of their new product strategy. While electric cars till now have been limited to a few offerings, the segment will witness a massive influx of new products all aimed at the compact SUV segment. Maruti Suzuki will showcase their e Vitara and it will be there first electric car for India being based on a bespoke electric architecture.
Then Hyundai will show it's Creta EV which it will launch in January itself. The Creta EV is their first EV in the compact SUV segment based on its most popular models. Tata Motors which has the biggest EV portfolio will further increase its product range with the production version of its Harrier EV being showcased. Not just these cars as JSW MG will have their Cyberster premium ev sports car also followed by Mahindra with their recent electric vehicles the BE 6 and the XEV 9e.
Even Mercedes-Benz will showcase its electric G Wagon in India indicating a market shift with carmakers focussing on EVs. Hence expect to see a lot of EVs and these would be the headline grabbing new launches at the event. In total there would be 12 carmakers who would be there at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
