Kia is readying an onslaught of new cars to India and after the Sonet facelift, the next big launches are in the premium end with the new Carnival and the EV9. Then it will be followed by the Clavis towards the end of the year.
The new EV9 as earlier revealed by Kia is coming towards the middle of this year and would be a premium electric luxury SUV which would be sold as a CBU and likely would be brought in limited numbers like the EV6. We expect the fully loaded model with a larger battery pack to be sold here with a range figure of near 600km.
The pricing would be premium given the size and being a CBU but this would be a halo model just like the EV6 which also sold well despite being a CBU. Then next would be the turn of the new generation Kia Carnival which is much bigger and more luxurious while being up to date with the latest technology features.

The new Carnival will have the new Kia design language while the interior would be dominated by two big screens. There would be sliding powered doors and inside, expect captain seats with loads of features including a panoramic sunroof, a head up display, premium Bose audio system, heated/ventilated seats etc.
The engine option will remain as a diesel most likely.
The last launch would be its big volume seller with the Clavis which would be larger and more spacious than the Sonet yet remain smaller than the Seltos.
It will also most likely spawn an EV variant along with a petrol version of course with the engine being a 1.0l turbo.
