New Delhi: Meet the newest offering in the 125cc range from Bajaj and it also wears a rugged look. The CT 125X has a somewhat different look with the round halogen headlamp with LED DRLs along with an off-roader-like vibe. You can also see that it gets a headlight guard, a rear luggage rack and engine protection. Further on there is a quilted seat along with a large grab rail a well-sized luggage rack and a USB charger in terms of important feature additions.

The engine is the same motor which has been in use to power the Bajaj Discover 125 and it is a 124.4cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine with 10.8hp at 8,000rpm and 11Nm at 5,500rpm. There is a 5-speed gearbox (with an all-down shifting pattern) and in place of a traditional fuel-injection system, the CT 125X gets an Intelligent Carburetor- something unique for the price. The CT 125X gets more basic telescopic forks and dual rear gas shocks with a drum/disc brake at the front and a drum rear brake.

The tyre size is 80/100 at the front and 100/90 at the rear. Available in three colour options-Green decals, Ebony Black with Blue decals, and Ebony Black with Red decals, the CT125X aims to compete with the likes of the Honda Shine, Hero Super Splendor, Glamour and TVS Radeon. In terms of prices, the CT 125X comes in at Rs 71,534 and Rs 74,682 for CT 125X Disc. The bike is a commuter but also one that is aimed to take on bad roads and is for tough riding conditions. In the CT range, the bike will join the CT100X and is the flagship bike within this range with a similar styling theme centred around a rugged commuting motorcycle.
