MG will showcase not only its Air compact electric city car but also the MG 4 electric crossover in India. The MG 4 is more of a hatchback/crossover in the premium space while being the ZS EV which is already on sale in India. The MG 4 has an aggressive design language with slim LED lamps and a curved proportion. The orange colour is also particularly attractive and lends a sporty touch to the car. The rear styling too has large tail lamps which are spread across the entire width of the car along with a raked sporty look.

Globally the MG 4 comes with either a 51kWh or 64kWh battery while having a single motor configuration. In the top-end configuration, expect the MG 4 to have a range that is more than 400km while it is unclear which specification is coming here. The car is also quite well equipped with features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen along with a digital driver display too. The car also gets an 'Active grille' which further helps the range to increase.

In other markets, the MG 4 gets premium features like a 360-degree camera, ADAS features, and more but for India, it remains to be seen how MG will price it.

The MG 4 does not have an SUV look unlike the ZS but the interesting styling will certainly have takers if priced well. MG will showcase the car at the 2023 Auto Expo to gauge reactions and see whether it should launch it or not. MG will also showcase two other new products including the Air mentioned earlier and the Hector which has received an extensive facelift amongst new features.

With electric cars starting to get popular, MG wants to increase its tally with the Air and the 4.
