Audi has launched the Q3 Sportback in India which joins the Q3 which was launched sometime back. The Sportback is the SUV Coupe version and comes with a sportier design. Hence, the car comes with the S-line exterior styling package plus 5 Spoke V Style ‘S Design’ R18 alloy wheels.

The Q3 Sportback also gets LED headlamps, a panoramic glass roof plus LED rear combination lamps with dynamic turn indicators. Inside, you get Ambient lighting with 30 colour options, a 10.1 inch MMI touchscreen, a virtual cockpit plus 2 zone climate control and more.

The engine is like the Q3 with a 2.0l turbo petrol which makes 190 hp and 320 Nm. The car goes from 0-100 kmph in 7.3 seconds and since this is an Audi, this, of course, has an all-wheel drive, Quattro. The new Audi Q3 Sportback is available in five exterior colour options - Turbo Blue, Glacier White, Chronos Grey, Mythos Black and Navarra Blue. It also offers two interior colour options – Okapi Brown and Pearl Beige.

The Q3 Sportback brings the new trend of SUV coupes to this segment and normally it is seen in higher segments but Audi has expanded the appeal of the Q3 with this. The outlandish looks are what separates the Q3 Sportback from rivals and also the fact that it uses a more powerful petrol engine which makes the Q3 Sportback a good value offering.

Currently, there is no rival for the Q3 Sportback in India in this segment and for self-driven owners, the Q3 Sportback makes more sense for its styling too where buyers will want to look over the standard Q3.

The Q3 range begins with Premium Plus and then there is the Technology variant while the Q3 Sportback comes in technology and S-Line trim.
