New Delhi: Lexus has launched the new generation NX SUV in India. This is the second generation of this luxury SUV and joins the Lexus range in India.


The new NX changes the design of this SUV with a sharper look to the front thanks to a large spindle grille and new headlamps.


The side profile is more sporty now while the big 20inch wheels add to the look too. The rear styling is also new with a tapering roofline and a light bar connecting the tail lamps.


The interior is all new as well with a massive 14inch touchscreen display and a new digital instrument cluster. The whole design of the interior has been changed.




The new NX also gets the latest safety features like Pre-collision System (PCS) for vehicle detection with alarm, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control -All Speed, Lane Departure Alert & Lane Tracing Assist, Auto High Beam and Adaptive High beam System in Headlamps. Additionally, Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) & Rear Camera Detection (RCD) is also available.


Luxury features include a HUD, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, electric seats, front/rear parking sensors and more.


The new NX continues to be sold in India with the NX350h hybrid variant. The 2.5-litre inline 4-cylinder engine is combined with electric motors. An eCVT automatic gearbox is standard with the SUV.




In this segment, the NX continues to be the only strong hybrid option.
