Shree Krishna Janmashtami 2024: Lord Krishna is believed to be an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, it is believed that worshipping the child form of Lord Krishna on Janmashtami, which falls on the Ashtami of the Krishna Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada, removes all sorrows, defects, and poverty. The ISKCON Temple in Sydney, also known as Sri Radha Gopinatha Mandir, is a testament to the growing devotion to Lord Krishna among Australians. This beautifully constructed temple is a vibrant centre for Krishna worship, hosting all major Krishna festivals with grandeur and attracting devotees from across the country.


Sri Sri Rukmini Dwarakadhish Temple

Prominently known as ISKCON Dwarka Delhi, the presiding Deities at the temple are Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai, Sri Sri Rukimini Dwarkadhish and Sri Sri Jagannath Baldev Subadhara Maharani. The grand temple in Dwarka , Delhi, is set for a grand Shri Krishna Janmashtami celebration, expecting around 5 lakh devotees. This year’s highlights include the offering of 1 lakh special bhogs to the deity—a first for ISKCON Dwarka—and a 100 kg cake to be distributed as Mahabhog Prasad. A large waterproof tent, accommodating 41,000 devotees, is being erected. The two-day festival, on August 26th and 27th, will feature cultural programs by local students.
