Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, his family, paid tributes to the former chief minister of the undivided state YS Rajasekhar Reddy, on his 13th death anniversary at YSR ghat at Idupalapaya.


CM Jagan is on a two-day visit to the YSR district. He attended a prayer meeting and paid floral tributes at the YSR Ghat at Idupulapaya in the YSR Cudappah district on Friday. His mother, YS Vijayamma, wife Bharathi Reddy, family members, well-wishers, and party leaders attended the prayer meeting.

Taking this to his Twitter handle, YS Jagan wrote, "Though (my) father has physically left us, his effervescent smile and (fond) memories are with us. He had redefined welfare for the first time in the country and proved that (fulfilling) peoples' aspirations is the main feature of governance. This government is going forward in his footsteps in the true spirit."






Several Congress leaders including Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Revanth Reddy paid tributes to late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy on his death anniversary. After offering prayers at Gandhi Bhavan, the leaders reached Panjagutta YSR Circle and paid tributes to the YSR statue.
