Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made an emotional speech during his 'Memantha Siddham Yatra' in Visakhapatnam of the state on Tuesday. While YS Jagan praised Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Botcha Satyanarayana during his campaign, he became emotional and teared up on stage.










During a public gathering in Siddham, CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's heartfelt words moved Education Minister and esteemed leader Botcha Satyanarayana to tears. Describing Satyanarayana as akin to a father figure, the CM said that he affectionately refers to him as "Anna."

Satyanarayana, previously a member of Congress, joined JSR Congress in 2015. From June 8, 2019 to April 7, 2022, he served as former cabinet minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development in Andhra Pradesh. 


Earlier, Satyanarayana served as president of Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee. 


Meanwhile, YSRCP leader Jagan Mohan Reddy affirmed that the citizens of the state have his "schemes to fulfil their aspirations." He emphasized that the upcoming elections are not just about electing MPs and MLAs but also about safeguarding the welfare schemes that benefit "every" household in the state for the next five years, including the continuation of doorstep delivery of government services. 


He cited various welfare programs implemented over the past five years and underscored efforts to enhance education, among other initiatives.


"To fulfil your dreams you have Jagan's schemes in Andhra Pradesh," Reddy said, as per a report on PTI.


Andhra Pradesh is voting simultaneously for both Lok Sabha and Assembly polls on May 13.
