Akhilesh Yadav, Rahul Gandhi Unite For 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' In Agra

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi joined forces for the 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' in Agra

days after the two parties reached a seat-sharing arrangement for the Lok Sabha polls.

Accompanied by Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the leaders were greeted with enthusiastic support from SP and Congress workers.

Attacking the Modi govt, Akhilesh Yadav highlighted the farmers' struggle and asserted that the BJP's rule would be replaced by the I.N.D.I.A. bloc govt, which would prioritise farmers' welfare.

Yadav also accused the BJP's of failing to uphold the rights of backward classes, Dalits, and minority communities.

Highlighting Agra's global significance as a city of love, the former Uttar Pradesh CM called for collective efforts by the I.N.D.I.A. bloc and 'PDA' to counter the BJP-led NDA.

Rahul Gandhi elaborated on the addition of 'Nyaay' (justice) to the Congress march, affirming the party's commitment to combating injustice and promoting equality.

The SP and Congress have reached a seat-sharing arrangement in Uttar Pradesh

with Congress contesting 17 seats and the SP fighting on 63 seats.
