1. Jhalmuri: Puffed rice mixed with chopped cucumber, onions, tomato & chilies, peanuts, mixture (chanachur), mustard oil, lemon and a special spice mix — a quintessential Bengali snack.

2. Luchi-Aalur Dom: This morning treat comprises deep-fried pooris served with a dry boiled-potato dish made with onions, tomatoes, and spices.

3. Fuchka: What is gupchup in Mumbai and golgappa in Delhi is 'fuchka' in Kolkata. The puris are mostly made with wheat flour, and served with tamarind water.
