Sandeshkhali Violence: TMC Leader Sheikh Shahjahan Arrested

TMC leader Sheikh Shahjahan has been arrested in connection with Sandeshkhali violence

Allegations of land grab and sexual harassment have been levelled against him

The absconding TMC leader was arrested by West Bengal Police on Wednesday night

The arrest came after Calcutta High Court directed that Sheikh can be arrested by either central agencies or Bengal Police

Following his arrest, TMC said the party followed 'rajdharma'

BJP claimed that the arrest was made after continuous protests by the party

Sheikh was produced before Basirhat court on Thursday
