Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 46 projects valued at over Rs 15,700 crore in Ayodhya on Saturday.

PM Modi arrived in Ayodhya and held held a roadshow during which he waved at and greeted locals en route.

Prime Minister Modi took a moment to connect with the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala Yojana at their residence in Ayodhya.

PM Modi had tea at the residence of Ujjwala scheme beneficiary Meera and had a brief conversation with her family.

PM Modi inaugurated the revamped Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway Station.

In Ayodhya, PM Modi inspected the model of redeveloped Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway Station.

PM Modi also took a walkthrough of newly-built Maharishi Valmiki International Airport.

Prime Minister Modi flagged off six Vande Bharat and two Amrit Bharat trains.

Notably, PM Modi urged citizens to refrain from visiting Ram temple on the day of consecration ceremony, which is scheduled for January 22.

The Prime Minister also called for a nationwide cleanliness drive at religious sites and temples from January 14 to 22.
