PM In UAE, Day 1 Wrap: Talks With Prez Nahyan To 'Ahlan Modi'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed India and the UAE as partners in progress during his visit to the Zayed Sports City Stadium.

PM Modi expressed his wish for the partnership between India and the UAE to grow stronger with each passing day.

Addressing the Indian community, he emphasised the strength of the relationship, characterized by talent, innovation, and culture.

Modi underscored the ancient community and cultural ties between India and the UAE, using Arabic phrases to convey their joint efforts in scripting a better future.

Speaking in the historic stadium, he commended the Indian community for coming together from various parts of the UAE and different states of India.

PM Modi recalled his first visit to the UAE in 2015, highlighting the significant progress made since then in trade and investment.

The Prime Minister conveyed India's pride in the Indian community, describing them as family members and messengers of over 140 crore Indians.

During his visit, PM Modi addressed the large Indian community, greeting them with a 'Namaskar' and acknowledging their overwhelming affection.

Amidst cheers, slogans, and traditional attire, the Indian community warmly welcomed Modi at the St Regis hotel, showcasing their enthusiasm and support.
