PM Modi on Sunday inaugurated the new Parliament building and dedicated it to the nation.

Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla accompanied the PM during the ceremony that began with Puja.

After Puja, the PM and LS speaker Birla entered the new Lok Sabha where PM Modi installed the historic 'Sengol'.

PM Modi dressed in an ethnic outfit for the occasion.

Later, the Prime Minister unveiled the plaque to mark the inauguration of the new Parliament building.

PM honoured and felicitated workers who were involved in the construction of the new Parliament.

PM expressed hope that the new building will witness the dawn of a self-reliant India.

PM said new Parliament will also lead to the development of the world through India's development.

PM stated that the 'Sengol' symbolised justice, righteousness, & good governance during the Chola dynasty.
