NDA Wins Bihar's Floor Test

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar-led NDA government emerged triumph in the recently concluded Bihar floor test on Monday.

As many as 129 MLAs voted for the NDA-led alliance.

A non-confidence motion against Bihar Assembly Speaker and RJD leader Awadh Bihari Choudhary was moved and carried by the State Assembly, and the Speaker was ousted.

Taking a swipe at Nitish Kumar-led NDA government, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said, 'Can PM Modi guarantee that Nitish won't switch camps again?'

Former Bihar Deputy CM and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said: I feel bad for JDU MLAs because they will have to go among the public and answer. If someone asks you why Nitish Kumar took oath 3 times, what will you say?

Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Vijay Sinha, in the assembly, said that the NDA government has resolved to make Bihar free of crime and corruption.

Ahead of the trust vote, BJP stated that all 78 MLAs of the saffron party were at a hotel in Patna.

Since 2005, when I got into power, there has been significant development in Bihar. Before that, his (Tejashwi Yadav's) father and mother got the opportunity to serve Bihar for 15 years. What did they do?, Nitish Kumar said in the assembly.

The trust vote came two weeks after Nitish switched allegiance from the Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance), a JD(U), RJD, and Congress coalition, to the NDA group.
