India's Sargam Koushal was crowned Mrs World 2022 at a gala event in Las Vegas on Sunday night.

Sargam Koushal brought back the crown after 21 years with her historic win against 63 contestants.

Sargam hails from Jammu and Kashmir.

Mrs World 2022 is a post graduate in English Literature.

Sargam Koushal has previously worked as a teacher in Vizhag.

Her husband serves in the Indian Navy.

On winning the title, Sargam shared, The long wait is over, it's after 21 years we have the CROWN back! 👑🌎

Sargam is the second Indian to win the title after Dr. Avitri Govitrikar, who won in 2001.
