Dry Fruit Ladoo: Check Out Steps To Make This Delicacy At Home

Slice all dry fruits listed in the ingredients except for the figs.

Slice the figs separately and blend them into a fine paste with a little water if required. Set aside.

Take a thick bottom pan and place on medium heat. Add ghee and when hot, all the sliced dry fruits and saute together till cashew nuts become golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Add the sugar into the same pan and the water and cook till the sugar melts. Add the jaggery and mix well till it blends with the sugar.

Add the fig paste and stir continuously on low to medium heat. When this paste combines with the sugar and jaggery mix, add the fried dry fruits and cardamom powder.

When the mix comes together like a thick dough consistency, remove and spread on a tray and allow to reach room temperature.

Divide the mix into equal portions of approximately 30 to 35 gms each and roll into the shape of a laddu.

Arrange on a decorative serving plate or bowl and serve.
