Born in Mumbai, Anant pursued his college education at Brown University in Rhode Island, USA.
Anant Ambani was appointed as the head of Reliance's new energy business in August 2022 and is already on the boards of Jio Platforms and Reliance Retail Ventures.
He is also leading the Vantara (Star of the Forest) program in Gujarat's Jamnagar.
Additionally, he is spearheading Reliance's ambitious renewable energy venture in Jamnagar, with the goal of making Reliance a Net Carbon Zero company by 2035.
Coming to his personal life, he is engaged to Radhika Merchant, daughter of Viren Merchant.
