Being a humectant, honey works perfectly to keep the skin nourished with moisture and is naturally soft. Furthermore, it is well known that turmeric has excellent and very strong antibacterial and anti- inflammatory effects that help to lighten skin and give it an overall uniformed look.
Combining the honey and turmeric powder in water will help create a paste that is smooth. Avoid the eye area during application and instead even out the paste over the rest of the face. Allow it to stay on for about 15 - 20 minutes after applying it, then take it off with warm water.
Vitamins C and B6 that are found in bananas contribute significantly in increasing skin’s adaptability. Yogurt contains lactic acid which acts as natural scrubs during exfoliation for shedding dead outer layers and unveiling the new skin cells nurtured beneath the surface.
Put banana, yogurt, and honey in a blender and mix thoroughly. Smear your face with this mixture and let it stay for approximately fifteen minutes. After that rinse it with warm water.
Avocado is packed with nutrients that can help target and repair damaged tissues that need moisture, avocados rejuvenate the skin due to the presence of healthy fats and antioxidants. Apart from being a natural moisturizer, Olive oil is also rich in vitamins that keep skin hydrated and smooth.
Peel and mash the avocado and combine it with olive oil to achieve a smooth and soft texture. Apply gently on the face for about 10-15 minutes then rinse off with warm water.
Aloe vera contains cool and anti-inflammatory properties which make it soothing for the skin and is perfect for application after a day out in the sun. On the other hand, the rose water also helps to restore the pH balance of the skin, tones, and refreshes it, thus providing a natural luster on the skin.
Blend aloe vera gel with rose water and later apply this venous combination onto your face. Gently wash it off after 15- 20 minutes while cool water is recommended.
Gram flour works as an excellent exfoliator and helps in getting rid of the dead skin cells making the skin smooth to touch and looks good. Milk acts as a source of lactic acid which aids in gentle exfoliation and also acts to help in getting rid of pigmentation. Turmeric, on the other hand, helps in providing a brightening effect on the skin.
Take the gram flour, and gram flour mix in milk and turmeric to form a dense paste. Apply this paste on your face and keep it for 15 minutes before rinsing it out with lukewarm water.
