Rajkot Gaming Zone Fire
At least 28 people died, including nine children after a fire erupted at the TRP Game Zone in Rajkot at around 4:30 pm.
Relief and rescue operation took over 6 hours.
Additional Commissioner of Police (ACP) Vinayak Patel said that the victim's bodies have been charred beyond recognition.
As per the eyewitnesses, several people, including children, were playing inside the game zone.
The exact cause of the massive fire is yet to be ascertained.
The structure collapsed due to the huge fire.
The owner and the manager of the TRP Game Zone have been detained.
The SIT has been directed to submit its report within 72 hours on the incident.
