Arvind Kejriwal Interim Bail: From AAP To BJP — Know Who Said What

After the Supreme Court granted interim bail to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, the Aam Aadmi Party on Friday called it a win for democracy and the Constitution.

Reacting to his bail, AAP leader Priyanka Kakkar expressed gratitude towards the SC and said that interim bail has been granted in very extraordinary circumstances and this is the 'last chance to save the democracy'.

Delhi Minister Atishi said that the truth has triumphed and the Supreme Court has played a major role in protecting democracy.

Delhi Minister and AAP leader Gopal Rai said that today the top court has given a 'ray of hope' to all those who believe in the Constitution.

AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said, 'Truth can be troubled but not defeated. The decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court is welcome. The dictatorship will end. Satyamev Jayate.'

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee stated, 'I am very happy to see that Shri Arvind Kejriwal has got interim bail. It will be very helpful in the context of the current elections.'

Congress leader Pawan Khera welcomed the Supreme intervention and said, 'We hope that the former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren also gets due justice.'

Saying that Kejriwal is still 'involved' in liquor scam, BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa said Delhi CM would have to go back to jail again after June 1.

Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma said, 'A new chapter of corruption is being written in the country. They came in the name of removing corruption and themselves got drowned in it.'

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva stressed that interim getting bail doesn't mean Arvind Kejriwal has been proven innocent.

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nipuram remarked that jail and bail both are secondary, as he demanded Kejriwal's removal from the post of Delhi Chief Minister.
