Take A Look At PM Modi's 2-Day Visit To Southern States Of Kerala, Tamil Nadu
Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a two-day visit starting February 27, covering Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra.
During this visit, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for several developmental projects.
The journey commencenced in Kerala and concluded in Maharashtra on February 28.
On February 27, Prime Minister visited the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) in Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also offered prayers at Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai yesterday.
PM visited the shrine in the evening wearing traditional attire of 'dhoti' and shirt, during his two-day visit to the southern states of Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
On Tuesday, PM Modi also annouced the names of four astronaut-designates selected to fly low Earth orbit next year as part of Gaganyaan mission.
On February 28, PM inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for multiple development projects totaling around Rs 17,300 crore in Thoothukudi.
PM also inaugurated railway projects aimed at doubling the Vanchi Maniyachchi - Nagercoil rail line, which includes the Vanchi Maniyachchi - Tirunelveli section and the Melappalayam - Aralvaymoli section.
