Delhi CM Kejriwal, AAP Leaders Visit Raj Ghat To Mark 1 Year Of Sisodia's Arrest

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and leaders of the AAP visited Rajghat in Delhi to commemorate the one-year anniversary of former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia's arrest.

Sisodia, who also served as the Education Minister, was arrested on February 26, 2023, in connection with the Delhi excise policy case.

Accompanying Kejriwal were Atishi, Saurabh Bharadwaj, and Durgesh Pathak, among others, at Rajghat.

Kejriwal lamented the arrest, stating, 'Last year on this day, the central government arrested the most capable education minister of our administration in connection with a false case.'

Kejriwal emphasised Sisodia's significant contributions to improving the quality of education in Delhi.

In a social media post, the Delhi Chief Minister hailed his former deputy as an inspiration for AAP leaders and all Indians fighting against corruption.

As per the Delhi Chief Minister, 'Manish Sisodia improved the quality of education in the national capital and brought hope after 75 years'.

At Rajghat, Kejriwal offered floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi, seeking strength for Sisodia 'in this fight against dictatorship and injustice'.
