‘AAP Is Biggest Challenger To BJP’: Delhi CM Kejriwal As His Govt Wins Trust Vote

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal addressed a motion of confidence in the Budget session, highlighting the AAP's position as a significant opposition to the BJP.

'The AAP is the biggest challenger to the BJP and that is why it is under attack from all sides,' Kejriwal remarked.

The House endorsed AAP's confidence motion through a voice vote, with 54 out of 62 MLAs present, reinforcing the party's majority.

The Delhi Chief Minister denied reports of defections within AAP, citing various MLAs' unavailability due to incarceration, illness, or other engagements.

Kejriwal accused the BJP of attempting to lure AAP MLAs with monetary incentives, claiming the party's desperation to destabilise the AAP government.

Kejriwal challenged BJP's alleged strategies, asserting that their 'attempts to arrest' him won't deter AAP's vision and mission.

'You may arrest me but how will you finish Kejriwal's thoughts?' he asked.

The Delhi Chief Minister also accused the BJP of obstructing governance through control over bureaucratic processes.

'They claim to be Ram bhakt but they stopped medicines for the poor people in our hospitals. Did Lord Ram ask for stopping medicines for the poor people?' he commented.
