The ongoing flood in some areas of the US, including Arizona and Utah, has caused problems for residents and tourists. Visitors with the proper permits will be able to hike with tribal guides to Arizona village and campground. Tourists will not be permitted to take pictures. As per the official Havasupai Tribe Tourism FB page, flooding washed away a bridge to the campground on Friday. An undetermined number of campers were evacuated to Supai Village, with some rescued by helicopter. The campground is located below the village of Supai. Some hikers were forced to camp in the village. Others who were unable to reach the village due to high water were forced to spend the night on a trail.
