Temperatures have dropped significantly across the hills of North India, with minimum temperatures touching freezing point or even below. Day maximums are settling below 15°C.

Dry weather conditions are prevalent over Bihar and Jharkhand since last many days. Moreover, both the states are largely rain deficient at present.
